The very people that are in charge of citizens are the ones that are hurting them. This is the biggest injustice of them all.

The accused hired a South Carolina State Senator to represent him. In 2021 South Carolina, State Senators were granted Absolute Protection where Senators on certain committees can't be compelled to go to court due to sovereign immunity.
What is Sovereign Immunity?
The idea or fact that the government cannot be used without its consent.
What does Sovereign Immunity mean?
Anyone who works for the state or the government cannot be sued unless they consent to be sued. Who would consent to being sued?
This idea came from when we were a colony of England that the king can do no wrong. In other words, officials can do no wrong. People with absolute power are absolutely corrupt.
